We proudly present Japanese knifemakers producing professional kitchen cutlery. Each knife brand is closely associated with a specific area because each area is famous for specific knife-making characteristics. Mr. Yoshizawa (吉澤刃物 - Yoshizawa Hamono company) is a talented young blacksmith from Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. He focused on full-hand forged knives based on the free-hand Tosa forging technique. He always strives to be creative and ingenious so that his knives will be beautiful to look at and have functional beauty as practical knives that can be used for a long time.

This beautiful Kengata Sujihiki knife (Japanese Slicer) is made by a young and talented craftsman (blacksmith) from the Saitama Prefecture, Norifumi Yoshizawa. 245mm hand-forged, three-layer (san mai) blade, made from Takefu Special Steel Company Shiro2 carbon steel (not the same but similar to Shirogami#2) as the central core, sandwiched between two layers of softer stainless steel.  Japanese traditional shape handle made from Rosewood.
