Takefu V2 belongs to the Shirogami group of Japanese carbon unalloyed steels. Literally translated, shirogami means "white paper." Steel got its name from the color of the wrapper in which the manufacturer wraps it. Steel belongs to the group of "gold" steels with a high degree of purification and the simplest composition that has come from time immemorial.
