Miki Hamono

We proudly present Japanese knifemakers producing professional kitchen cutlery. Miki Hamono is a private smithy specializing in kitchen knives for over 88 years from Miki city of Hyogo prefecture in Japan. Miki Hamono knives are produced using the techniques of the Matsue Clan, which has been known for its superb Samurai swords for more than four centuries. The present owner Kunio Masuya is a practicing knifemaker up to date. Miki Hamono is making one of the best professional Japanese cuisine knives on the market in the cost/performance.
