Silver steel 3

Silver Steel 3 (developed by Hitachi Metals Ltd.) is fine-grained stainless steel with high carbon content and has a "special cut," this steel is easier to sharpen, and no special abrasives are required. These blades have a very high hardness due to their high carbon content. Sliver No.3 can attain the same level of edge sharpness and edge retention as some High Carbon steels.
