The best option for protecting knives from damage. Magnolia wood is ideal for knife protection because it is soft, moisture-resistant, and free of solid resins that can cause carbon steel to rust. A pin is used to maintain the blade and sheath in position for safety. * Please put a knife into the Saya only after the blade has dried. We highly advise our clients who carry knives regularly or keep them for a long time without using them to purchase a wood sheath (Saya). This Saya Cover is made only for Baba Kageykyo Gyuto Knife and may NOT fit other brand knives.
