Natural Magnolia Wood sheath (Saya Cover) lacquered with Japanese traditional lacquer Urushi for Japanese style Sujihiki knife with blade 270mm long. The best option for protecting knives from damage. Magnolia wood is ideal for knife protection because it is soft, moisture-resistant, and free of solid resins that can cause carbon steel to rust. A pin is used to maintain the blade and sheath in position for safety. * Please put a knife into the Saya only after the blade has dried.
